This site demonstrates results of my PhD work in the LEAR group at INRIA Grenoble. The links below give an overview and results of the research projects I have been working on.

List of my research projects:

• Human Focused Action Localization in Video -- Work published at the International Workshop on Sign Gesture Activity held on conjunction with ECCV; this work is also presented in my PhD thesis (chapter 7)
• Action recognition with (dense) feature trajectories -- Collaborative work with Heng Wang (more information about this project on his page) which has been reported in my PhD thesis (chapter 5)
• Will person detection help bag-of-features action recognition? -- Work that has been described in our technical report as well as in my PhD thesis (chapter 6)
• Evaluation of local features for action recognition -- Work that was an oral presentation at BMVC 2009
